Book Review, The CIA’s Encounter with Akinlana Osei, A Short International Mystery for Teens Grown-Ups

As Americans we go about their daily lives, mostly concerned with the events of our day. We put the events of 9/11 in the back of our mind, while they strive to make sense of our own lives.  Without us realizing it, dangers lurk in the shadow of our lives every day. This is a fictional story of one such danger.

The CIA’s Encounter With Akinlana Osei is based on current events in the news today. From the kidnapping of 300 young girls in Nigeria to the kidnapping of family members of high-tech engineers, this is a short, International mystery, that takes place in the U.S.   A great diversion for teens and grown-ups.

The author may have crossed the line when it comes to the territorial responsibilities between the CIA and the FBI, yet the story makes sense. Why wouldn’t Akinlana Osei go to the CIA, and not the FBI?
