In this fiction-thriller, the CIA gets called in due to potential terrorist using fraudulent passports to enter the United States.
In the Osei International Book Series, Book IV surrounds a computer malfunction at the border which allows bad people to enter the US. Osei and Benjamin, the two CIA agents assigned to the mission of finding out “exactly” how the terrorist or criminals are able to enter the country without being detected.
The assignment takes the two men to Mexico, but not before a stop in Chicago, where Osei develops a love connection with an asset. Deciding to take it slow the couple makes future plans which Shelly, the bombshell CIA Case Manager, destroys.
In the meantime, Ben and Osei take on a new partner who is a CIA Liason-Agent working out of Mexico City. Navarro is handsome enough and fits in with the program nicely until he too goes back to his old position and leaves Osei to work alone.
After a mandatory off-the-grid vacation for two weeks in Mexico, the team, with the help of the NSA learn how the cartel and terrorist are slipping into the United States using forged Mexican passports. As it turns out Mexico isn’t the country who set up the illegal entrance.
The story is completely fictional, yet based on recent current events makes for a believable roller coaster ride in the company of two CIA cyber-agents who have few rules and even fewer people to report to.
