How to Get Legal Book Reviews on Your Kindle Free Days

Okay, we got it straight from Amazon.  We received this message from Customer Service regarding concerning “reviews” for Kindle Books on Amazon.

We do not permit reviews or votes on the helpfulness of reviews that are posted in exchange for compensation of any kind, including payment (whether in the form of money or gift certificates), bonus content, entry to a contest or sweepstakes, discounts on future purchases, extra product, or other gifts.

The sole exception to this rule is when a free or discounted copy of a physical product is provided to a customer up front. In this case,  if you offer a free or discounted product in exchange for a review, you must clearly state that you welcome both positive and negative feedback. Further, the reviewer must disclose in the review that the product was received for free or at a discount.

We won’t be able to provide further insight or assistance for your request.

I hope this helps. We look forward to seeing you again soon.

We’d appreciate your feedback. Please use the links below to tell us about your experience today.

Subject: I’m confused about the reviews on free days

I can’t seem to find the wording in the TOS to explain my question.
Is it okay to ask bloggers and readers for that matter for reviews during my kindle book
s free days?
There are post online which say this is against the TOS
