There are a lot of reasons for becoming a tax professional, one of the major reasons is to provide a much needed service and to learn about finances and how money works on the fast track. Keep in mind, that the way money works in the real world is sometimes very different then how taxes are reported and calculated. Usually you will find tax loopholes in the grey area between how corporate America views finances and how the IRS calculates the finances. It doesn’t take a law degree to understand these differences, however it does take a commitment to learning and understand tax law (codes) Not to worry, after a couple years, it will become second nature.
